Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for maintaining a given portfolio of customers and reducing the aging of open AR by maximizing cash collections and reducing disputes.

In Short

• Perform reconciliations and provide insights into month-to-month differences.
• Accurately apply cash to customer accounts.
• Manage and process refunds for customers.
• Execute monthly billing processes.
• Resolve AR-related disputes within a predefined time frame.
• Review dispute documentation and assign disputes to the appropriate internal owner.
• Conduct data analysis, prepare, and present reports.
• Contact customers with delinquent accounts to resolve issues and secure payments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to research and support in obtaining information.
• Identify repetitive issues and communicate them to the proper owners.
