Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant - Remote

Spryker is scaling rapidly on its global journey, and we’re looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our world-class finance team!

In Short

• Manage Accounts Receivable Processes: Oversee and improve processes for invoicing, customer account reconciliation, and timely collections.
• Ensure Compliance: Support compliance with Local GAAP (HGB), US-GAAP and relevant transfer pricing principles is a plus.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, legal, tax advisors, banks and auditors.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements, implementing scalable systems to support Spryker’s global growth.
• Support Intercompany Transactions: Reconcile intercompany accounts and support group-level accounting activities.
• Customer Account Oversight: Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances, ensuring follow-up on overdue invoices.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on accounts receivable in e-commerce, SaaS, or software industries.
• Expertise: Solid knowledge of Local GAAP (HGB). Familiarity with transfer pricing principles is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and German.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems is beneficial.
• Mindset: A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
