Overview

The Technical Support Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide remote technical guidance to customers, troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues related to SCADA and EMS systems.

In Short

  • Serve as the first point of contact for support requests.
  • Triage and categorize issues based on severity.
  • Document detailed issue information.
  • Communicate regularly with customers on ticket status.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Coordinate RMAs for hardware failures.
  • Maintain accurate support tickets and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Collaborate with team members in regular meetings.
  • Provide feedback to improve product reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in SCADA delivery or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems and network protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy sources is desirable.
  • Experience in Linux systems is a plus.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills.
