Senior Data Scientist - Remote

In Short

• Own the end-to-end product and insurance analytics lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Product team to design and evaluate new product launches.
• Partner with Insurance stakeholders for analytics on pricing analysis and trends.
• Maintain Mixpanel for product analytics and drive adoption.
• Build and optimize dashboards in Looker for product performance visibility.
• Work with DBT, BigQuery, and SQL for data ingestion and transformation.
• Contribute to a well-maintained analytics backlog and run sprints using Jira.
• Identify and lead exploratory data initiatives.
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Play a foundational role in scaling the data function.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a product-facing data role.
• Hands-on experience with Mixpanel for product analytics.
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience in launching or evaluating new products.
• Ownership of a full data analytics stack.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to translate business goals into analytical frameworks.
• Strong product sense and experience with product managers and engineers.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A self-starter who can structure ambiguity.
