Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Scientist’s role is to transform data into critical insights that can be used to make rational decisions regarding core and new products.

In Short

• Collect and prepare data for analysis – Cleansing / Data Wrangling.
• Create models to evaluate the data – Statistical, Visual, Machine Learning.
• Evaluate models and refine as needed.
• Deliver solutions based upon the model and communicate their value.
• Report directly to the Director of Data Science.
• Open to hybrid candidates who can be in the office in Galway two days a week.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 5-7 years of professional data scientist experience.
• Solid understanding of high-level product architecture and data flow patterns.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Significant experience with statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience in building cloud-native analytical solutions.
• Experience in designing/developing/deploying machine learning models.
• Experience with sensitive healthcare data.
