In Short

  • Strategic Growth: work with leadership to determine account strategy based on market dynamics, including technology landscape, customer needs, competitive analysis, budget constraints, and opportunity forecast.
  • Growth Operations: maintain the pipeline of opportunities, manage metrics to evaluate progress, and support collaboration tools to document progress.
  • Business Development: conduct research and identify and qualify opportunities to determine fit and deliverability.
  • Client Relationship Management: connect with key customer decision-makers and influencers to gain insights to identify and understand needs.
  • Capture Management: move the company to a favorable win position through activities such as client and requirement understanding, teaming strategies, competitive intelligence, and price to win analysis.
  • Solution Development Support: support the development of relevant and tailored solutions that address client requirements, needs, and expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years actively leading business development and/or capture management activities, demonstrating strong collaboration skills with a track record of competitive wins.
  • Experience pursuing federal contracts with civilian agencies including but not limited to HHS, DHS, Treasury, and GSA.
  • Experience with digital services capabilities including human centered design, product management, agile software development, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, and data analytics.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed environment to proactively coordinate activities across multiple HQ, account, and capability groups.
  • Experience working with a small business that has streamlined resources, yet plenty of determination and teamwork mentality (comfortable wearing multiple hats).
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Slack, and Trello.
  • Expertise with federal buying platforms, such as sam.gov, GSA ebuy, NITAAC egos, and others.
  • Expertise with opportunity research platforms such as HigherEd, GovTribe, Govwin or others.
