Overview

The Support Group Facilitator role at Plume Health involves empowering and supporting the community team to provide essential support to Plume members navigating their gender journey.

In Short

• Facilitate virtual support groups for trans and nonbinary individuals.
• Provide empathetic support to members.
• Create agendas and discussion questions for group sessions.
• Engage with participants in the Plume Community Hub.
• Utilize conflict resolution skills in group settings.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Conduct peer reviews of other facilitators.
• Train new facilitators.
• Work part-time, averaging 5-8 hours per week.
• Compensation is $30 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the trans experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a facilitator or peer support specialist.
• Experience facilitating virtual support groups.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive issues related to the trans community.
• Consistent availability on weekday evenings and weekends.
