Credit & Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Credit & Collections Specialist will be responsible for executing crucial credit approvals and collecting cash for the company by focusing on assigned customer portfolios in the US and Canada.

In Short

• Review sales orders on credit hold for approval.
• Analyze aged A/R balances and develop a collection plan.
• Process credit card transactions and monitor auto-pay activity.
• Log customer contacts and collection activities.
• Make recommendations on customer credits and bad debt reserves.
• Liaise between customers and cross-functional teams.
• Complete month-end and quarter-end deliverables.
• Improve productivity through KPI review and process initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in credit & collections.
• Experience in managing customer A/R portfolios.
• Knowledge of billing processes and order-to-cash cycle.
• Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in ERP, CRM, and collections software.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
