Software Development Engineer, Platform Foundations Team - Remote

Overview

Platform Science is looking for a Mid level engineer to join our Platform Foundations team, which builds core event messaging pipelines connecting all data within the company.

In Short

• Develop new features for data processing.
• Build new portal pages and features.
• Plan and review architecture designs.
• Document new tickets and peer development.
• Collaborate on new development with team members.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years in backend development (Go, Node).
• Experience with frontend technologies (VueJS, NextJS).
• API design and integration experience.
• Testing experience (unit, functional, integration).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA.
• Advocate for best practices in development.
• Experience with IaC technologies is a plus.
• Experience with databases and AWS technologies is a plus.
• Mentoring experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent preferred.
