Senior Sales Engineer - Identity Management - Remote

Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer at Ping Identity will merge enthusiasm for identity management with a commitment to customer success, engaging in customer meetings, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to showcase the benefits of our solutions.

In Short

• Deliver pre-sales activities including demonstrations and technical guidance.
• Act as the go-to technical expert on Ping Identity solutions.
• Establish enduring relationships with customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue.
• Coordinate pre-sales efforts with post-sales service delivery.
• Lead customer-facing meetings and presentations.
• Provide feedback on product enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Develop subject matter expert-level knowledge of Ping Identity's solutions.
• Travel 15% to 40% as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Deep knowledge of standard identity protocols and technologies.
• Experience with modern programming languages and web technologies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Adept at linking technical capabilities to customer needs.
• Ability to work with self-direction and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud service providers.
