Overview

The Identity & Access Management Engineer’s primary responsibility is to implement security principles to support alignment with security policies to protect data and reduce risk. This senior-level role requires a strong understanding of IAM principles, protocols, and best practices.

In Short

  • Implement and administer IAM and RBAC platforms.
  • Drive IAM and RBAC automation and development initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to NIST standards for IAM solutions.
  • Respond to break/fix requests and monitor IAM environments.
  • Handle Level 2 tickets for bugs, outages, and feature requests.
  • Maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support access requests via ServiceNow tickets.
  • Ensure 99.99% system availability for IAM systems.
  • Build and maintain IAM policies for various authentication methods.
  • Continuously improve methods for MFA and SSO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in IAM and RBAC support.
  • Extensive experience in implementing modern IAM practices.
  • Familiarity with NIST guidelines for access administration.
  • Proficiency in IAM tools like CyberArk, Active Directory, and Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to tackling IAM challenges.
