Overview

The Senior Compensation Business Partner is an advisor to people team partners and business leaders regarding compensation programs and solutions. This role builds, evaluates, and implements Compensation programs and evolves them with corporate strategy and objectives.

In Short

  • Makes recommendations and provides advice for internal and external offers to attract and retain highly sought-after talent.
  • Project manager for maintaining and implementing compensation systems, tools, and salary review cycles.
  • Understands current and emerging market trends to identify potential opportunities and gaps.
  • Develops solutions such as manager training, programs, bonus guidelines, etc.
  • Develops relationships with key HR partners and stakeholders to facilitate execution of total rewards strategies.
  • Serves as a consultant providing technical/functional expertise on compensation practices.
  • Helps evaluate compensation program market competitiveness and analyzes base pay and incentive plans.
  • Participates in market surveys and updates MarketPay and lookup tools.
  • Conducts analyses to ensure internal pay equity and external competitiveness.
  • Assists with evaluating compensation projects and programs for efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • 5 years of related experience in compensation and human resources administration.
  • Experience in total rewards analysis and compensation programs administration.
  • Experience designing and developing compensation structures and incentive programs.
  • Ability to communicate technical details to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong Excel skills with expertise in complex formulas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with data-driven decision frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail in preparing and auditing data.
  • Ability to build and execute against detailed project plans.
  • Strong ability to influence decisions weighing risk and business strategy.
