Release Train Engineer - Remote

Overview

The AEC is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to act as a servant leader and Agile Release Train (ART) coach within the Funding and Disclosure Reform (FAD) Program Management Office (IPMO). The RTE will coordinate with the Solution Train Engineer (STE) and Program Delivery Managers to optimise value delivery and guide ART practices.

In Short

• Facilitate ART events and processes to support team delivery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Escalate and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Drive continuous improvements and optimise value delivery
• Execute and manage Program Increment (PI) planning
• Support standardisation and documentation of SAFe® practices
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Program
• Contribute to required reporting artefacts

Requirements

• Previous and evidenced experience and skills as a Release Train Engineer
• A strong understanding of the SAFe® methodology, and its application within a large and complex Program within a government context
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Experience effectively managing competing priorities
• Proven ability to act with discretion and integrity in managing sensitive information
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (desirable)
