Release Train Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and open-minded Release Train Engineer (RTE) for our client in Luzern, responsible for coordinating and managing an Agile Release Train (ART).

In Short

• Responsible for planning cross-value stream EPICs and coordinating with business owners.
• Ensure PI planning, including preparation, moderation, and execution of events.
• Ensure flow in value streams and continuous optimization of the process.
• Facilitate communication and synchronization across teams.
• Timely resolution of obstacles and risks, fostering collaboration.
• Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices.
• Track and communicate relevant metrics for value stream execution.
• Support continuous improvement of flow in value streams.
• Ensure transparent progress tracking of value streams.
• Collaborate with product and solution management, business owners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an RTE in agile software development projects.
• Certification as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar role.
• Strong interest in technical and business topics.
• Flexibility, strong communication skills, and confidence in dealing with various stakeholders.
• Personality driven for change, problem-solving, and flow optimization.
• Reliable, precise, and independent work style with strong sense of responsibility.
• Initiative, curious, resilient, and goal-oriented personality.
• Fluent in German.
