ETL Developer - Teradata, SQL, Data Integration - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer (ETL Developer) will support Services Australia's Data Curation Section by building and maintaining automated ETL data integration solutions within a Teradata environment and other platforms.

In Short

• Support delivery of data assets and improve data management capabilities.
• Build data integration applications to ETL data into data warehouses and lakes.
• Perform analysis, prototyping, development, testing, and maintenance in Teradata EDW.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL programs.
• Analyse technical requirements and provide solution evaluations.
• Deliver high-quality Management Information solutions.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Focus on data integrity between source and target systems.
• Analyse complex business processes and requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance.

Requirements

• Experience in ETL and data integration.
• Strong programming and software development skills.
• Ability to design, code, test, document, and refactor complex programs.
• Experience with SQL and Teradata tools.
• Ability to analyse and improve usage/application of tools.
• Experience in systems design and integration.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Must have Australian citizenship.
• Must be located in a capital city of ACT or VIC.
