The Technical Business Analyst’s Purpose is to play a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams across the new data initiatives and technologies. You will help embed good data management practices into those teams. In addition, this role will also provide user support and guidance, enabling adoption of new tools to achieve better outcomes.

In Short

• Support good data management and delivery practices and embed them across Enterprise Data teams.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Model, document and analyse existing business and technical processes.
• Document existing and proposed solution designs including component views, data flows, and process maps.
• Ensure artefacts are consistent with industry and organisational standards.
• Develop documentation standards and templates.
• Support stakeholders through change management.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality.
• Present data artefacts and findings to stakeholders.
• Develop subject matter expertise in key functional areas.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in collaborating on successful data initiatives in Financial Services or FinTech.
• Good knowledge of DAMA DMBoK principles or relevant data frameworks.
• Experience in at least two Data Management Areas.
• Experience in a fast-moving transformation environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in data modelling and mapping.
• Familiarity with contemporary cloud data-management technology.
