Overview

The Therapy Development Specialist (TDS) will drive downstream execution for U.S. marketing and Venus Thromboembolism Education (VTE) initiatives within a target region.

In Short

  • Drive VTE education programs and connect marketing initiatives to physician customers.
  • Manage a large multi-state geography and create cross-functional coalitions.
  • Act as a regional VTE care path expert and support clinical program development.
  • Identify and develop educational program opportunities and key opinion leaders.
  • Execute local/regional care path tradeshows and conferences.
  • Communicate effectively with regional sales teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist in local PR initiatives and drive therapy awareness.
  • Utilize analytic methods to evaluate regional activities and recommend new opportunities.
  • Promote and maintain the Penumbra brand in the assigned region.
  • Adhere to quality management systems and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in program development or medical field.
  • Preferred BSN/RN with experience in VTE or related practice areas.
  • 3+ years in program development and clinical quality improvement.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and team player in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to conduct business outside of typical hours.
