Loss Control Representative - Remote

Overview

The purpose of this position is to complete technical surveys within an assigned territory for multiple line coverage on lumber, woodworking and building materials type operations.

• Complete field surveys to evaluate physical and managerial aspects of the risk.
• Prepare technical reports on risks surveyed.
• Assist in preventing/reducing loss potential through practical recommendations.
• Familiar with policy coverages and underwriting guidelines.
• Knowledge of Federal and State safety standards.
• Manage time and territory for assignments.
• Promote good public relations between stakeholders.
• May assist in maintaining internal loss control programs.
• Keep updated with technical publications and standards.
• 3-5 years experience as a Loss Control Representative.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Bachelor's degree in physical science or Risk Management.
• Knowledge of safety operations and product liability.
• Experience in loss control studies.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for up to 2-3 days per week.
