Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) position at Motorola Solutions is focused on ensuring the overall health of accounts for public safety agencies, promoting the adoption of products and services.

In Short

  • Responsible for account health of public safety agencies.
  • Partner with customers on multiple product lines.
  • Remove obstacles and drive issue resolution.
  • Ensure service delivery and technical best practices.
  • Manage service agreements and deployment of resources.
  • Build strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction.
  • Coordinate technical changes and implementation plans.
  • Travel required: 10-25%.
  • Must obtain background clearance for government customers.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Motorola Software and Video products.
  • Ability to explain technical problems to clients.
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Experience in account management preferred.
  • Ability to manage escalations effectively.
  • Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
