  • Create scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using tools like Nessus.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
  • Work independently or as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • Travel up to 25% for client engagements.
  • Must obtain a FedRAMP required certification within 3 months.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and security standards is required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Technical Certifications in cybersecurity are preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in FISMA-based security assessments is a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong technical aptitude.
