Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves building systems from the ground up. This is a hands-on role for someone who is not only technically sharp but also enjoys automating workflows, optimizing month-end close, and being a key partner in financial decision-making.

In Short

• Fully Remote position
• Full-Time schedule of 40 hours/week

• Own end-to-end accounts payable and vendor compliance
• Manage employee expense reports and payroll entries
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in external audits and ensure tax compliance
• Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization
• Report directly to the CFO
• Be a key partner in financial decision-making

Requirements

• Experience in accounting operations and financial reporting
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Ability to automate workflows and optimize processes
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience with payroll processing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting software and tools
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
