Starship is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You'll play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to our continued success as we work towards becoming a potential "unicorn" company!

In Short

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze account data.
• Control payroll functions and manage intercompany transactions.
• Prepare payment files and manage taxes payable.
• Handle accruals and manage revenue accounting.
• Oversee loan accounting and manage equity-related entries.
• Lead month-end close process and assist in audits.
• Collaborate with external financial partners.
• Maintain internal control systems for financial integrity.
• Provide support to the Group Chief Accountant and CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with multi-national consolidation.
• Experience working independently with auditors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Remote work experience.
• Must reside in the Eastern time-zone.
