Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

In Short

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions.
• Close books on a monthly basis by recording journal entries.
• Reconcile assigned accounts monthly.
• Review customer orders/contracts and create invoices.
• Handle accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Calculate commissions for sales teams.
• Support ad hoc projects and cross-train team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software like Sage Intacct and Zoho.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
