In Short

• Drive and manage financial licensing processes in the EU, UK, and other regions.
• Maintain and open correspondent and operational bank accounts.
• Handle complex legal requests from banks and authorities.
• Stay updated on financial regulations including AML and KYC.
• Update compliance programs as per regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for regulatory reporting and audits.
• Oversee company governance policies and updates.
• Lead licensing processes for expansion into new regions.
• Record keeping and structuring of relevant documentation.
• Draft various legal agreements including NDAs and employment contracts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role in regulated companies.
• Understanding of international corporate law and EU compliance principles.
• Proven experience in enhancing compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Experience in opening international bank accounts and communication with regulators.
• Experience in drafting legal agreements.
• Fluent in English.
• Master's degree in law.
