Overview

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will support our global fintech and payments legal team, helping to navigate the complex regulatory landscape of financial services.

In Short

• Assist in legal research and provide guidance on financial regulations, payments, and fintech-related compliance matters.
• Support drafting and reviewing agreements, including payment processing agreements, vendor contracts, and regulatory submissions.
• Work closely with senior legal counsel on licensing applications and regulatory filings.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure legal and regulatory considerations are embedded in business operations.
• Contribute to developing and implementing processes to streamline legal operations.
• Help create and maintain legal playbooks, policies, and training materials.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to fintech and regulatory compliance.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
