Overview

The Business Development Representative at Route Consultant Purchasing Alliance (RCPA) is responsible for prospecting new business opportunities and engaging potential customers in the logistics industry.

In Short

  • Engage potential customers and qualify leads.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls.
  • Schedule sales meetings for Business Development Managers.
  • Strategically reach out to leads including cold calls.
  • Identify and prospect clients in new industries.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on outreach strategies.
  • Log and track activity in Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed lead generation targets.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
  • Full-time remote position with some office work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of business development or sales experience.
  • Familiarity with fleet management is a plus.
  • Outgoing and persuasive communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
