Volunteer Onboarding Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Volunteer Onboarding Specialist to help welcome and guide new volunteers through the onboarding process at our dog rescue. In this role, you will ensure that new volunteers are smoothly integrated into the organization by providing orientation, training resources, and ongoing support.

In Short

• Guide new volunteers through the onboarding process, including orientation and training.
• Provide resources and support to help new volunteers understand their roles.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new volunteers, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure a positive onboarding experience to foster long-term volunteer engagement.
• Work remotely for five hours a week with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, contributing 5 hours per week remotely.
• Consistent and timely communication with new volunteers.
