Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will manage contract administration assignments for all phases of demanding contractual undertakings.

In Short

  • Review client contracts to identify risks and ensure conformity with company policy.
  • Propose alternative clauses based on sound contracting approaches.
  • Ensure thorough review of contracts for legal, risk management, tax, and accounting issues.
  • Participate as a lead member of the negotiating team.
  • Monitor and administer business provisions of prime contracts.
  • Advise Program Managers on scope, financial, and risk issues.
  • Oversee contract administration activities within designated market areas.
  • Support and prepare Requests for Equitable Adjustments and Claims.
  • Provide guidance to Contract Administrators.
  • Work with proposal teams on drafting and submitting proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of prime contract administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and management.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry business practices.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC software packages associated with contract administration.
  • Non-Federal contracting experience is a plus.
  • Background in Engineering and Construction contracting preferred.
  • US Persons required.
