Senior Water Treatment Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Water Treatment Engineer will be responsible for designing water treatment systems and managing projects related to water and wastewater treatment.

In Short

• Independently design water treatment systems.
• Manage small-to-medium scale water/wastewater projects.
• Engage with clients to promote Parsons.
• Provide input to CAD Designers on projects.
• Prepare computations, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Assist in preparing requisitions for materials and services.
• Review supplier drawings and perform technical analyses.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Act as an advisor on engineering matters.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Hydraulics, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Manitoba or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Wet Utilities.
• Detailed knowledge in water treatment system design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and related software.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience in surface and groundwater treatment applications.
• Experience with small and large-scale systems.
• Ability to apply engineering knowledge to adjacent fields.
• Skilled in BIM application.
