Overview

Parsons is seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to manage design assignments related to water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

In Short

• Independently design wastewater treatment systems.
• Manage small-to-large scale projects in the water/wastewater field.
• Engage with clients to promote Parsons.
• Assist CAD Designers with project-related tasks.
• Prepare computations, material takeoffs, and designs.
• Review supplier drawings and perform bid analyses.
• Prepare specifications and construction documents.
• Provide engineering advice to management.
• Ensure compliance with engineering codes and regulations.
• Contribute to various design assignments using fundamental engineering principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Manitoba or ability to obtain it.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in wet utilities projects.
• Detailed knowledge in wastewater treatment design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and related software.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with wastewater treatment lagoons is a plus.
• Ability to apply engineering knowledge to adjacent fields.
• Skilled in BIM application.
