In Short

• Develop, maintain, and optimize AML/ATF transaction-monitoring and anti-fraud controls.
• Define, back-test, and refine quantitative thresholds and parameters.
• Deploy and fine-tune controls within transaction monitoring systems.
• Analyze emerging ML/TF and fraud patterns.
• Continuously improve risk controls and enhance performance metrics.
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards for fraud detection.
• Support AML and fraud investigations.
• Contribute to the development of machine learning models.
• Support integration of third-party analytics tools.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Crimes Compliance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analytics frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AML/ATF transaction monitoring controls.
• Understanding of Canadian and global AML/ATF legislation.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
