Overview

As a Technical Sales Manager for SD-WAN, you will work with your sales partners to establish strong relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and partners, helping them to offer Palo Alto Networks’ products to their customers.

In Short

  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with partners and customers.
  • Architect and propose validated solutions for SD-WAN and SASE offerings.
  • Identify and document customer problems solvable through integrated solutions.
  • Support sales strategies in collaboration with theater sales leadership.
  • Coordinate with MSP & Ecosystem teams to nurture partners.
  • Ensure ongoing partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Pursue continuous self-improvement in applicable technologies.
  • Differentiate against top competitors effectively.
  • Act as a technical advocate for MSPs.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical Sales Engineering roles.
  • 5+ years supporting an MSP in SD-WAN/SASE technologies preferred.
  • Advanced experience with SD-WAN architectures.
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies, tunneling protocols, and IP routing.
  • Experience with virtualization and network security technologies.
  • Ability to work in small creative and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
