Overview

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by building strategic, technical account plans.
  • Position, demonstrate and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio.
  • Conduct discovery to understand key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
  • Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and influence through presentations.
  • Lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices.
  • Orchestrate supporting resources to ensure a cohesive strategy.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions including PANW and partner services.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate our leadership.
  • Continuously invest in personal development and participate in the Solutions Consultant community.

Requirements

  • Understanding of data networking and modern application design.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions.
  • Ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations.
  • Experience in selling or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC technologies.
  • Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation.
  • Experience with complex sales processes.
  • Proficient in English.
