Senior Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

As a technical writer at Palo Alto Networks, you will help our customers deploy and use the Cortex products, ensuring their success in using our services and helping them protect their endpoints.

In Short

• Help customers deploy and use Cortex products.
• Document new security features for customer adoption.
• Develop high-quality content for user success.
• Work with developers, QA, PMs, and customers.
• Organize technical details into user-friendly topics.
• Propose changes and resolve problems proactively.
• Adapt to changes and succeed in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with cloud security or SOC platforms is a plus.
• Proficient in DITA and XML authoring.
• Video tutorial creation experience is beneficial.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with source control and collaboration tools.
