Overview

As a Senior Technical Writer at ngrok, you will play a critical role in helping developers and users understand and leverage our powerful platform. Documentation is a vital part of ngrok’s success, and your work will directly impact how easily customers can adopt and integrate our features.

In Short

• Create, update, and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and customer support teams.
• Write and edit internal and external documentation.
• Develop guides and how-to content.
• Review and refine existing documentation based on user feedback.
• Contribute to the development of a documentation style guide.
• Stay up to date with the latest product releases and industry trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Strong ability to write for technical audiences.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Docusaurus, Markdown, Github.
• Ability to understand complex technical topics.
• Software engineering background with a focus around Typescript, React, Node.js.
• Prior experience at a startup.
• Experience with API Gateways, Software Networking, HTTP, DNS, etc.
