Overview

The Cortex Domain Consultant will be an expert in Palo Alto Networks' Cortex portfolio, focusing on cybersecurity solutions and customer engagement.

In Short

  • Define technical solutions for customers using Cortex portfolio.
  • Collaborate with account teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Present as an expert to various customer levels.
  • Lead customer demonstrations showcasing unique value propositions.
  • Scope and lead Proof of Value projects.
  • Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases.
  • Engage with customers to strengthen their security posture.
  • Discuss industry trends and competitive offers.
  • Provide feedback to product management and R&D.
  • Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering.
  • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR.
  • IBM Qradar experience is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Scripting experience preferred, especially in Python.
