Data Science Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Develop predictive models to forecast trends, optimize resource allocation, and improve outcomes.
• Develop and deploy prototype and/or production models based on foundational LLMs.
• Design, tune, test, automate deployment, and monitor existing models.
• Collaborate with various departments across the organization on technical projects.
• Evaluate the design of competitive products to enhance our own offerings.
• Support the Director, Product-Data and AI in building a compelling roadmap.
• Identify and design tools and processes for production and distribution.
• Leverage biostatistics and other statistical methods to advance data usage.
• Work with data, AI, and analytics to improve the member experience.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 2+ years in data science or machine learning.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated competencies in Generative AI.
• Experience in applying data science techniques to healthcare datasets.
• Experience developing end-to-end AI models at scale.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with streaming and real-time models a plus.
• Working knowledge of application and web development preferred.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud providers.
