• Lead the Metrics product team at Paddle.
• Manage and coach engineers for personal and professional development.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to create a successful roadmap.
• Drive improvements in team processes and practices.
• Oversee technical decisions and strategy within the product area.
• Contribute to the data strategy of Paddle.
• Improve the reliability and scalability of Paddle’s systems.
• Work with other leaders to build an industry-leading engineering organization.

Requirements

• Experience with significant data pipelines and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and interest in Go.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• 5+ years as a senior software engineer on large-scale systems.
• Understanding of high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions.
• Experience in building payment and financial products.
• Detail-oriented with an understanding of money movements.
• Comfortable working with financial and legal stakeholders.
• Proactive and open to self-improvement.
