Junior Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer to enhance software quality and grow in the Test Automation field, joining an international team of experienced developers and testers.

In Short

• Design, create, and execute both manual and automated tests.
• Execute API testing, UI testing, and back-end testing.
• Report and track software quality issues.
• Contribute to effective QA strategies.
• Collaborate with experienced Quality Engineers.
• Develop proficiency as a Software Quality Engineer.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Software Development or QA roles.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred).

Requirements

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Ability to implement automated test cases using UI Test Automation tools.
• Good notions of API and API testing.
• University studies in Software Engineering or related IT field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Experience working with global teams.
