In Short

• Detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Specialist needed.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Denial Management processes.
• Work closely with the Revenue Cycle team to maximize revenue.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims for timely payment.
• Investigate and appeal denied claims.
• Maintain documentation of denial resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with teams to correct and resubmit denied claims.
• Monitor patient balances and resolve billing questions.
• Generate and analyze AR and denial reports.
• Participate in payer audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in medical billing and denial management.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.
• Preferred experience in a health tech company or startup.
• Solid understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle.
• Proficiency in medical billing and EHR/EMR systems.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
