QA / Technical Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

As Orchard Robotics’ first QA / Technical Support Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of scans captured by our AI-powered camera systems.

In Short

• Perform nightly QA checks on 100+ scans from various camera systems.
• Execute standard checklists including GPS accuracy and data integrity.
• Monitor camera processing queues and identify issues proactively.
• Document and communicate detailed feedback to customers and teams.
• Automate repetitive QA tasks through scripting and dashboards.
• Develop tracking systems to enhance monitoring efficiency.
• Manage clear communication with customers regarding scan status.
• Conduct QA testing of FruitScope features and performance.
• Support onboarding of new customer accounts onto our systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Linux/SSH.
• Experience in developing automation tools and dashboards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
• Experience with ticketing systems (HubSpot, Jira) is beneficial.
• Interest in using AI tools is a plus.
