Technical Release Program Manager - Remote

Overview

Optery is seeking a hands-on Technical Release Program Manager to lead our product and platform release process across web, backend, and mobile applications. This is an execution-focused role for someone who can work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure that every release is planned, tested, documented, and communicated. The role requires strong front-end and mobile application development experience, preferably in JavaScript and React.

In Short

• Own Optery’s release calendar and cadence across frontend, backend, and mobile.
• Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Coordinate and manage release readiness.
• Perform detailed QA and testing of new releases.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for release execution.
• Document and distribute release notes and change communications.
• Track and surface release risks, blockers, and post-release issues.
• Propose and implement incremental improvements to the release process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in release management, software delivery, QA and testing, or technical program management.
• Prior exposure to frontend development, mobile app development, or product management.
• Strong experience with work-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Ability to coordinate teams in multiple time zones.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, remote, startup environment.
