Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bookkeeping & Customer Support Specialist to support U.S.-based clients, primarily therapy practice owners. This role combines hands-on bookkeeping work with strong customer communication, ensuring accurate financial records while providing a human-centered support experience.

  • Transaction management and reconciliation for client accounts.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide bookkeeping support.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Review bookkeeping work for compliance and quality assurance.

  • Work asynchronously within U.S. time zones.
  • Flexible hours required during peak tax seasons.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and software.
  • Document customer interactions in the support system.
  • Collaborate with clients and escalate complex issues as necessary.

Requirements

  • Prior bookkeeping experience (any level).
  • Strong English fluency (written and verbal).
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathetic and people-oriented communication style.
  • Comfortable working asynchronously.
  • Willingness to learn proprietary bookkeeping systems.
  • Experience with large accounting firms is a plus.
