Overview

The ABA Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for families seeking Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for Autism care. This role ensures a warm, professional, and efficient intake experience by conducting screenings, gathering information, and coordinating with internal teams to transition families smoothly into the care process.

In Short

  • Contact new inquiries promptly and conduct intake screenings.
  • Collect required information and assess eligibility.
  • Provide compassionate, supportive communication to families.
  • Accurately record intake data in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Convert qualified leads and close out ineligible or unresponsive cases.
  • Re-engage paused or unresponsive families to improve conversions.
  • Provide after-hours or weekend coverage as needed.
  • Follow standard procedures, scripts, and quality guidelines.
  • Coordinate with intake, clinical, and RCM teams for seamless transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for Autism care required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in patient intake, healthcare operations, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong empathy, professionalism, and phone presence.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and data-accurate.
  • Flexible to work evenings or weekends as needed.
