Overview

onX is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to be responsible for creating and maintaining onX’s data ecosystem to enable the discoverability and access to our data for the business.

In Short

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
• Develop, test, and maintain data models and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and security through validation processes.
• Automate workflows using Cloud Composer.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with SRE and Infrastructure teams.
• Stay updated with GCP services and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in GCP services like BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Experience with streaming and batch processing.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
