iOS Engineer - Remote

Overview

onX is seeking a talented iOS Engineer with a passion for product development. As an onX iOS Engineer, you will join one of our vertical teams focused on feature development and maintenance of our Backcountry application which is aimed at enabling human powered adventures, e.g. backpacking, hiking, cross-country skiing. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic startup focused on making an impact on the business, and the mobile mapping industry as a whole.

In Short

• Write clean and maintainable Swift code
• Work closely with designers to create engaging user experiences
• Participate in the iOS team architecture and code standard discussions
• Review pull requests in a timely manner
• Create ideas and solutions that pertain to your team’s quarterly mission

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related degree required.
• A minimum of Five (5) years of professional software development experience is required, where iOS development was your professional focus for at least two (2) or more years.
• A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
• A minimum of Three (3) years of Swift experience
• Proficiency in GIT (particularly rebasing)
• Experience with Combine and SwiftUI
