Devops Engineer - Remote

Overview

Onit is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and support DevOps initiatives, focusing on automating processes to support products from development through production.

In Short

• Build automation, provision, and manage cloud resources.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for Onit applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with Support specialists.
• Work with product teams to define and prioritize DevOps requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Implement solutions for security, compliance, and governance.
• Create runbooks and playbooks for infrastructure support.
• Evaluate emerging Cloud and DevOps technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive AWS knowledge and experience.
• 3+ years managing and automating AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience running containers and Kubernetes in production.
• Postgres or SQL database experience.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and GitLab CI are a plus).
• Proficient in Linux and Git.
• Experience in programming languages (Ruby and/or Python preferred).
• Experience with Enterprise Web applications in production.
• Experience with Helm and Ansible are a plus.
• Experience in various AWS technologies (EC2, RDS, EFS, etc.).
