Overview

The Customer Service Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and promotion of an assigned association by providing in-depth knowledge and expertise. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, member escalations, conducting research, and overseeing complex matters through to resolution.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for the assigned association.
  • Act as a trusted resource for association members seeking assistance.
  • Own and resolve complex account issues and policy questions.
  • Deliver high-touch, white-glove service experiences.
  • Collaborate across various departments for end-to-end case resolution.
  • Identify trends and process gaps through member interactions.
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload of complex matters.
  • Support frontline service teams with sensitive cases.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communication records.
  • Participate in occasional association or partner events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
  • Experience in customer service, insurance, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
  • Comfort handling sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and internal systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Life & Health license preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
