Software Engineer Internship - Remote

Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2025, you will work with Omnidian’s OCI (Operations and Continuous Improvement) Team to build and enhance software solutions that support our cloud-based platforms.

In Short

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support Omnidian’s cloud infrastructure.
• Build full stack features from UI to REST endpoints and database interactions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues within our cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, DevOps, and Product Teams.
• Gain hands-on experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on autonomy.
• Participate in local gatherings and mentorship opportunities.
• Present at the end of the internship program.
• Work 40 hours per week.
• Compensation at a competitive hourly wage.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Kotlin, Typescript, Java, or Python).
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and modern development frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Bitbucket, Git, GitHub).
• A self-starter who is eager to learn and contribute.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team.
