Overview

An experienced Healthcare Claims & Billing Specialist is sought to support a client with ongoing healthcare billing, bookkeeping, and invoice coordination tasks, working as a virtual assistant.

In Short

• Part-time position, 18 hours per week
• Workdays are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET
• Process healthcare billing and insurance claims accurately
• Handle HCFA/CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
• Support Medicaid billing workflows
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Must work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in healthcare billing is essential

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare billing and insurance claims processing
• Familiarity with HCFA/CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
• Strong bookkeeping/accounting background
• Experience with reconciliation
• Exposure to healthcare or insurance environments preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
